So far so good

Both my Dad, and our golden retriever Olive die, so not the best year all told. I get into Vinyl, and create a font based on my Dads handwriting
2019
Started working with Resolve to Save Lives three days a week, and painting birds again. Rissington Podcast returns!
2018
The year of working with Mozilla on the Firefox brand refresh. Started birding again
2017
Work was thin on the ground - worst working year since going freelance.
2016
Stopped working with Opera Software for reals this time.
2015
Started working as the Design Lead for Opera Software (Desktop division). Started Troika Podcast.
2014
Memory highlight: going to Chicago with family and speaking at An Event Apart, and doing icons for Spotify.
2013
More cycling! Also back working with Opera again.
2012
Will forever remember this as the year that mum died. Also published the Icon Handbook, and was glad she got to see it.
2011
Wrote the Icon Handbook, started cycling.
2010
Stopped consulting for Opera Software. Moved house, got a dog. Rissington Podcast goes on hiatus. Made emoticons for Skype and moved from Webble Mill to closer offices in Witney

Moved from Rissington to 'Webble Mill' (Burford).
2008
Started consulting with Opera Software in Oslo.
2007
Moved into new office at Upper Rissington, Gloucestershire and start Rissington Podcast with Mr Oxton.
2006
Leigh leaves regular payment employment to join me in Hicksdesign. Started obsession with finding a media centre solution
2005
Redesigned the HICKS logo again, this time it (more or less) sticks. Worked with ATTAP in New York, and started renting a desk at MCC Design in Long Hanborough. No longer working from home!
2004
Moved from Moveable Type to Textpattern

Daniel is born! The first tentative steps into blogging with Moveable Type, there was a lot of talk about CSS and browsers.

Samantha is born, and decided to go freelance as 'Hicksdesign'.
